来自任天堂官方的最新消息，口袋妖怪系列最新作《口袋妖怪X》以及《口袋妖怪Y》这款作品将会于2013年10月全球同日发售，除了会发行游戏的实体包装版本以外，游戏还会发行数字下载版，喜欢数字版的玩家们可以欢呼了！
●口袋妖怪系列最新作在3DS平台登录！
2013年1月8日（昨天）19点放送的任天堂网络直播会上，任天堂社长岩田聪公开了口袋妖怪系列最新作的消息，新名为《 口袋妖怪Ｘ・Ｙ》，游戏仍然分双版本发售，发售日期为2013年10月世界同时发售。

另外，游戏除了会发行实体包装版以外，相应的eshop下载版也会同样登场，不过目前相应的配信日期以及价格还未公开。
《口袋妖怪XY》中将会加入许多原创的新妖怪以及新加入的进化种类，而本作不仅游戏画面更加精美，游戏的战斗画面也达到了系列的新高，战斗更加的刺激和火爆，更多后续情报请留意我们K73电玩之家的跟踪报道。
